This arrived a couple weeks ago but just getting to it. This issue is focused entirely on the War of 1812. A number of academic articles in relation to the war address: Jefferson's national security policy, Army officers, Navy petty officers, the war's connection to the Napoleonic wars, British Royal Navy activities, why the White House was burned, American Indians, privateering, wikipedia coverage of the war, Winfield Scott and a review of books with Canadian perspectives of the war. Also 70 some book reviews.
