I read some very poor reviews on this magazine dated about 3
years ago but an intriguing article drew me into buying this issue. Good so far. Articles by scholars, maybe a touch of pop history but at a
higher level. ACW news and trivia
information. Articles on Harper’s Ferry
raid, Confederate strategy and its shortfalls, New Mexico campaign, Sioux
uprising, court proceedings re: the Lincoln assassination conspirators,
Stahel’s Cavalry Division. Good so far.
