Strategy and Tactics

Strategy & Tactics #278 - Jan-Feb 2013
Tobruk 1941 Operation Crusader - Analysis and game
Riverine logistics at the US Civil War Battle of Shiloh
The Battle of Fei River November 383 China
Sino-Vietnamese War, 17 February to 16 March 1979
Followed by a collection of current information and historical essays
Detailed articles and many photos and illustrations
Packaging and magazine were good enough to take the minor beating the post office gave it and still look good as new.

November 29 Update: The Tobruk piece was interesting and informative.  However the highlights for me were the articles on the Battle of Shiloh, providing very good information on river crossing operations and logistics, and the pieces on the Battle of Fei River and the Sino-Vietnamese War.  Both Asian conflicts were well covered, providing general information from the strategic, operational and tactical levels.  Good reading and good maps.

Welcome

Welcome to my new blog, Military History Magazines.  Essentially I subscribe to over 40 military history and related magazines.  I could potentially be subscribing to hundreds more.  So the purpose of this blog is to create a post when I get an issue, give a quick rundown on its contents, followed later in time with a more thorough review of what's inside.
